Fourth day in Nepal

Today we went to Kathmandu Durbar Square. There were a lot of beautiful which was surprising to see compared to the rest of the small unfinished or abandoned buildings we have seen. There was a lot of religious culture there, candles, bells, and men walking around in some sort of costume with painted faces. We walked up to the top of a building. The steps were very steep. There were men following us pestering us to buy things like bracelets, chess sets and flutes, and tiger balm. Then we went to the Royal Palace Museum and saw the preserved items that belonged to the kings of Nepal. It was really interesting. After lunch, we went to Hope and Home Orphanage and played soccer with the kids. The Orphanage were all boys and it was really nice. It was fun to play with the kids and talk to them. They really appreciated us coming. Samantha M.
